Embraer has announced that it has reached the milestone of 2,000 business jets delivered. The company states that its executive aviation business has seen an average compound growth rate of 14 percent since it delivered its first executive jet model in 2002. Embraer held a celebratory ceremony during the delivery at Executive Jets' Global Customer Center in Florida. The milestone aircraft is a Praetor 500 that was delivered to an anonymous corporate flight department. The company claims the aircraft is the fastest, furthest-flying and most technologically advanced business mid-size jet. The Praetor 500 has a range of 3,340 nautical miles with fuel reserves and 4 passengers. "Delivering our 2,000th business jet is more than just a milestone number. It is a powerful reflection of the strength of our product portfolio, our unwavering commitment to our customers and the dedication of our employees who take pride in building every aircraft," said Michael Amalfitano, President andamp; CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. "This milestone cements Embraer's position as a global leader in business aviation and serves as a testament to the popularity of our Praetor family of jets, especially among major corporate flight departments. Both the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 have become aircraft of choice for their disruptive technology and unmatched performance, demonstrating the confidence these corporations place in Embraer."RELATED STORIES:Embraer announces financial earning results for the second quarter of 2025Embraer finished Q2 with $29.7B backlogEmbraer CEO raises concerns on tarriff impact The company states that the delivery highlights the Praetor family's growing appeal to corporate flight departments.
