🚁 Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)

📍 Location: Smoketown, Pennsylvania
📅 Availability: Full-time or part-time (Weekend availability required)

Smoketown Helicopters is seeking a motivated and safety-minded Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) to join our team at our flight school located in beautiful Smoketown, PA. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys teaching students to fly helicopters, thrives in a fast-paced learning environment, and is ready to support various aspects of a growing flight operation.

Position Includes:

  • Providing dual instruction in Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters

  • Ensuring adherence to Part 61 training with Part 141-level standards

  • Performing basic aircraft upkeep and maintenance tasks

  • Handling customer service responsibilities and administrative duties

  • Assisting with tours and commercial work (growth opportunity!)

Requirements:

  • Current CFII (Helicopter) certification

  • Must meet SFAR 73 requirements to instruct in the R22 and R44

  • Must be available weekends and able to follow a structured syllabus

  • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and student-focused
