Hillsboro Aviation’s contract & charter division provides services to the United States Forest Service (USFS), the Department of Interior (DOI), FEMA, large national utility (powerline & infrastructure), and high-tech companies as well as smaller companies and individuals. Our missions include search and rescue, short-haul (human external cargo, natural disaster relief, construction support, aerial firefighting, natural resource surveys, film/photo/news, and heli-skiing. Our fleet is comprised of Airbus H145D3, Bell 205 A-1++, Bell 407, Bell 407HP, and Airbus AS350B3e.
As a Fuel Service Vehicle Driver you will work closely with the Contract & Charter team to provide fuel to helicopters. You will report to the Vehicle Fleet Manager and will be responsible for the following, including but not limited to:
- Provide fuel for the helicopter, including fueling the aircraft with or without the rotors turning.
- Support the helicopter technician and the servicing of helicopter and/or support equipment.
- Submit daily reports of the vehicle status, work-time, DOT driving time and other pertinent information to the office via electronic filing.
Ideal candidates are adaptable and willing to work in a high-paced environment, able to work independently within his/her areas of responsibilities under limited supervision, and have a high quality work ethic.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide fuel for the helicopter, including fueling the aircraft with or without the rotors turning.
- Support the helicopter technician and the servicing of helicopter and/or support equipment.
- Submit daily reports of the vehicle status, work-time, DOT driving time and other pertinent information to the office via electronic filing.
- Take and record daily fuel quality control samples
- Monitor vehicle fuel levels and order additional fuel in coordination with the pilot.
- Be responsible for the general condition, cleanliness, and road-worthiness of the assigned vehicle.
