Florida Suncoast Helicopters is seeking a candidate for role of Director of Maintenance for our part 145 repair station (FSH Maintenance, LLC). Salary negotiable. $5000 sign on bonus.

The successful candidate must:

 

§ Perform general mechanical repair on aircraft and related systems.

§ Troubleshooting and evaluation of aircraft systems.

§ Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.

§ Develop and implement the employee training program.

§ Maintain all shop equipment and tools in current and serviceable working condition.

§ Ascertain that the responsible technicians execute all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and Work Orders used by the Repair Station.

§ Maintain the premises of the Repair Station in a clean and orderly manner.

§ Initiate purchase requisitions for stock as required.

§ Review work orders to ensure proper documentation.

§ Make personnel decisions, including, reassignment, change in duties, and scope of assignment, or addition of personnel.

§ Ascertain that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work and that the proper inspection records, reports and forms used by the Repair Station are properly executed prior to releasing the article for return to service and corrective action is taking on deficiencies.

§ Assure the proper handling of all parts while in repair process and when the work is completed.

§ Ensure that employees are trained in accordance with procedures set forth in the Training Manual.

§ Accomplishing the final acceptance and the airworthiness of articles on which work has been performed outside the Repair Station by contract.

§ Conducting the preliminary, discrepancy, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles.

§ Ascertaining that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work before it is approved for return to service and that the proper inspection and maintenance records, reports and forms required for such release are properly executed.

§ Assuring that the personnel in the maintenance department maintain high quality standards.
