VIP Completions unveiled the recently refurbished interior of a Dassault Falcon 7X. The entire refurbishment took just 16 weeks and features personalized décor and modern technology. "We are particularly proud of this project because it shows how quickly and efficiently our companies can work together - in just 16 weeks, we went from a letter of intent to an entirely new bespoke interior," VIP Completions and Smartjets President Ben Shirazi said. "First, we guided our client through a detailed acquisition process to ensure that they selected the optimal aircraft under optimal conditions - including closing in time to benefit from 2023 bonus depreciation rules."Before and after The acquisition was brokered by SmartJets, a leading turnkey aircraft dealer-broker. The entire process was only 16 weeks, with about eight weeks for the acquisition and another eight for the refurbishment. The Falcon 7X is a long-range business jet with a 5,950-nautical mile range. The 7X was introduced in 2007 and there are roughly 270 in service around the world today. The jet has Dassault's unique "trijet" powerplant configuration, offering passengers incredible performance with a maximum speed of Mach 0.9. The 7X interior offers peak luxury and comfort to its 12 passengers. The floor plan features three principal cabin areas, with a forward main lounge with club seating, a mid-cabin conference room/dining room and an aft stateroom/office with a divan. There is a large forward galley and a forward crew lavatory and an aft VIP lavatory.Main cabin and aft cabin The cabin has many personalized touches, including custom-designed seats upholstered with contrasting premium Garrett leathers and intricate diamond pattern stitch work. The stateroom divan is upholstered in premium Garrett leathers as well, featuring contrasting picture-frame piping. The full cabin was re-veneered in an open grain white oak finish in a matte dark chocolate color. There are new stone countertops and 100 percent wool carpeting by Loro Piana throughout the cabin. The cabin bulkheads and dado panels are covered in light cream Garrett leather to match the seats.Galley and conference room "Once acquisition was final, we worked closely with our client to create a customized interior, using the finest designer brands and materials," Shirazi said. "Combining an aesthetic that reflects individual taste and style with the latest technologies, we delivered a superb and unique in-flight experience. Completing a refurb of this scope in just eight weeks is exceptionally fast by industry standards. We are comfortable committing to such short turn-around times, for comparably sized projects, thanks to the rigorous efficiency of our project management and the excellence of our talented team."
