Enhanced Cessna pistons enter into service, celebrate first deliveries
Textron celebrated the entry into service and first deliveries of its enhanced Cessna Skyhawk, Cessna Skylane, Turbo Skylane and Turbo Stationair HD.
The enhanced pistons showcase a modern and stylish look to align with Cessna Citation jets, while still maintaining the comfort, durability and performance of the Cessna piston lineup. The Cessna Skyhawk, Cessna Skylane, Turbo Skylane and Turbo Stationair HD boast new features and design elements while continuing to be a versatile aircraft with tools to enable a variety of missions.
New interior designs include the all-new comfortable seats with additional support and padding. There are power headset jacks at every seat, as well as A and C USB charging ports. There are sleek, black instrument panels, side and cellphone pockets throughout the aircraft, integrated overhead air conditioning on equipped aircraft, and a new center armrest available on certain models.
The interior was not alone in the enhancement, with the exterior getting a colorful refresh as well. The enhancements were initially announced at AirVenture in 2023, with a sleek piston on display during the event. These new interior designs will be unveiled at the 2024 Sun ‘n Fun event in Lakeland, Florida.
