The Global 7500 delivers top-of-the-line performance for customers and is continuing to build upon its record-setting pedigree. The jet has a top speed of Mach 0.925 and an industry-leading range of 7,700 nautical miles. The Global 7500 has a range of excellent performance capabilities, including the Smooth Flex Wing designed with a slats and flaps system to generate lift on takeoff and approach to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. The Smooth Flex Wing will boost performance while improving safety and providing passengers with a smoother ride. This technology will also reduce fuel burn and lower emissions, producing an outstanding short-field and high-speed performance.
The record-setting Global 7500 allows for numerous long-distance pairs from Asia-Pacific, including Beijing to New York, Seoul to New York, Tokyo to New York and Singapore to San Francisco. The Global 7500 leads in its class for design excellence, offering passengers a luxurious home in the sky. Passengers can enjoy the ultra-fast internet capabilities and impeccably designed cabins. The spacious interior features four true living spaces, a full-size equipped kitchen and a dedicated crew suite. Other design elements include Bombardier's patented Nuage seat, featuring the industry's first zero-gravity position.
Bombardier's Global 7500 will be further enhanced by the introduction of the Global 8000, first announced in 2022. The flagship of a new era will have an industry-leading range of 8,000 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.94. The Global 8000 will boast the healthiest cabin in the industry with Bombardier's Pur Air and advanced HEPA filter technology, providing the cleanest cabin air and fastest air replacement. The new jet will feature the lowest cabin altitude of 2,900 feet flying at 41,000 feet, lower than any business jet today.
Development of the Global 8000 is on track and the jet is expected to enter into service in 2025. Global 7500 operators can retrofit their aircraft with the performance enhancements on the Global 8000 once it enters into service.
