The Citation Ascend is expected to enter into service in 2025. The new jet was unveiled at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in May. The Cessna Citation Ascend is a new addition to the midsize business jet market and attendees at the European convention were able to enjoy a mockup at the show. The North American mockup debut will add to the Textron aircraft lineup. Other aircraft on display include the Citation Longitude, Latitude, CJ4 Gen2, M2 Gen2, the Grand Caravan Ex with a special missions configuration, the Bell 429, the Beechcraft King Air 360 and the Beechcraft Denali. The Denali made its debut at EAA AirVenture in July and this will be its first showing at NBAA-BACE.
