INGENIO Aerospace (INGENIO), a leader in innovative product design and manufacturing for business, commercial and military aviation, today announced the appointment of Simon Lafrenière as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Simon's mandate is to drive INGENIO's operations and leverage the company's commitment to continuous innovation in the design and manufacturing of electrical-mechanical aircraft cockpit and cabin solutions. In addition to 23 years of industry experience, Simon's strengths include strategic planning, Mandamp;A, business transformation and project management. He was with Bombardier for 15 years, holding several management titles, including Manager, New Product Development, Challenger Programs. In that role, his accomplishments included the on-time delivery of the first Challenger 350. Simon Lafrenière holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and a BEng in Aeronautics from Université de Sherbrooke.
