Modern Aviation acquires Puerto Rico FBO in San Juan
Modern Aviation has acquired the Puerto Rico FBO LLC at the Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport (SIG) (Isla Grande Airport/TJIG) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The owner, Benitez Aviation, will continue operating its aircraft management and Part 135 charter business at the airport and is one of Modern's largest customers in the region.

Puerto Rico FBO currently offers about 40,000 square feet of hangar and office space at TJIG. Modern has completed the first of two additional hangars, adding roughly 48,000 square feet. The second hangar should be completed by the end of the first quarter.

Puerto Rico FBO will be consolidated into Modern's current operations, operating under the Modern Aviation brand.
