Mark Schlafman promoted to director of flight operations at Fargo Jet Center
Fargo Jet Center proudly announces the recent promotion of Mark Schlafman to Director of Flight Operations for the Aircraft Charter andamp; Management department. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades in military and civilian aviation, Schlafman brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his new role.
Schlafman joined FJC in June 2022, initially serving as a captain in the Charter department. Prior to his time at FJC, he dedicated 30+ years to his aviation career, where he held various roles including aircraft mechanic, rotary-wing pilot, fixed-wing pilot, and leadership positions. Notable achievements include serving as Aviation Safety Officer, Operations Officer, and Maintenance Test Pilot, among others. Schlafman's extensive qualifications and training encompass leadership, safety, maintenance, operations, and emergency response.
In his new role as Director of Flight Operations, Schlafman will oversee all aircraft and business operations for the department, including managing fleet logistics, client relations, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, business development, and strategic planning.
