Andrew Ohnstad promoted to director of maintenance at Premier Jet Center
Premier Jet Center proudly announces the recent promotion of Andrew Ohnstad to Director of Maintenance, overseeing the Maintenance, Paint, and Interior departments. With experience spanning over 20 years in aviation, including eight years at PJC, Ohnstad has experience in flying, fueling, and fixing airplanes, bringing a unique blend of knowledge and skill to his new role.
Andrew joined PJC in May 2016 where he served as both parts manager and airframe and powerplant (Aandamp;P) mechanic. His journey into aviation commenced in 2004 when he achieved his private and instrument ratings at sister company, Fargo Jet Center (Fargo, ND), laying the foundation for his aviation career. Outside of his professional endeavor, he is currently undertaking the exciting project of building his own RV7 aircraft.
As Director of Maintenance, Ohnstad assumes responsibility for leading a safe and efficient maintenance shop. With a strong team of leaders already in place, he will focus on fostering customer relationships and enhancing training and development opportunities for technicians.
"Andrew has diverse experience that will bring a fresh perspective to this leadership role," says Michael Lawrence, General Manager. "I'm confident in his ability to provide great service and excellent communication to our clients and leverage his relationships and resources to continue upon the growth of our maintenance department," adds Lawrence.
