  • Provide flight and ground instruction in accordance with Ascent Aeronautical Academy 141 and 61 programs.
  • Provide quality instruction and support for students
  • Be a positive leader and role model for students
  • Maintain student files and progress through syllabus
  • Maintain currency
  • Play an active role in Ascent Aeronautical Academy Safety Management System
  • Ensure compliance with Ascent Aeronautical Academy Standard Operational Guidelines
  • Attend and participate in weekly CFI meetings.
  • Assist in recruiting new students
  • Assist in administrative work as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned include but are not limited to: cleaning helicopters, organizing hangars, emptying trash cans, working as ground crew etc.
