FRASCA Sees Continued Demand for RTDs

July 21, 2021. Urbana, IL. Frasca International is seeing continued success with their RTD, (Reconfigurable Training Device) flight simulator with over fifteen sold to flight schools so far this year.

Schools purchasing RTDs this year include: Utah Valley University, Marshall University, CP Jois, University of Central Missouri, AMT Helicopters, Delta State University, Eastern Michigan University, Wichita State University, Ortega Aviation Services, CAE, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University - Daytona and Prescott campuses and Louisiana Tech University. Over 60 RTDs have been delivered since it's launch in 2018.

In addition, Frasca will be bringing three flight simulators to this year's AirVenture event held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (July 26 - Aug. 1) including two RTDs and a Level 5 Cessna 172 Flight Training Device (FTD). The simulators will be housed in mobile trailers and are available for test flights during the event in booth #54 located in the College Park area.

The RTD can be reconfigured to simulate several popular training aircraft including the Cessna 172, Piper Seminole, Piper Archer, and Diamond DA40/42 for both analog and Garmin G1000 configurations.
