International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women’s achievements or rally for women’s equality.
Today, we celebrate our female nurses, pilots, engineers, clinicians, and everyone in between across the country who have not wavered in their commitment to the Air Methods mission. Notably, we are proud to have an accomplished woman as CEO, JaeLynn Williams, who strives to provide opportunities to women throughout the company.
JaeLynn has spearheaded a variety of initiatives aimed at revamping and improving the industry. Her key objective has been bringing Air Methods services in-network with insurance plans throughout the U.S. Given her deep passion for customer and patient care, and her strong focus on accelerating growth, JaeLynn has delivered on achieving Air Methods ambitious goals through strong leadership and collaboration.
In the past year, JaeLynn assumed leadership of Air Methods and has found this global challenge has shaped the direction of the company and her decision-making in countless ways. Leading has been complex, but it helps to be inspired by the entire Air Methods team and have the support of a superb executive leadership team.
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2021, Barclays has invited Williams to participate in a virtual panel discussion from their gender network’s Power Hour series, Leading Voices: Perspectives from the Female C-suite. The discussion will be facilitated by Barclays Global Head of Banking, and Co-President of Barclays Bank BBPLC, Paul Compton. Williams will be alongside Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture and Betsy Ward, CFO of MassMutual. This discussion will focus on the themes of leadership, diversity and inclusion, career development and the future of our working world.
At Air Methods, we will continue to celebrate the contributions of the company’s amazing women all year long, and on International Women’s Day, we thank them for all they do!
